Build on strong foundations

Sometimes that means acquiring a product with real users and real traction. Sometimes it means building from zero with a clear thesis. Either way, we start with conviction, not hype.

Maintain and iterate

The work that matters most happens after launch day or closing day. Fix what's broken. Ship what's needed. Show up again tomorrow. Maintenance isn't the absence of progress — it's how progress actually happens.

Compound

Small improvements, repeated consistently, create enormous value over time. We're not looking for breakthroughs. We're looking for the twentieth Tuesday in a row where we made something a little better.

Stewardship

We take responsibility for what we own — whether we built it or bought it. Not as a portfolio to optimize, but as a set of products that real people use every day. We think from first principles and build for durability.

Simplicity

Fewer features, fewer dependencies, fewer distractions. The best products do less, better. We resist complexity because complexity is debt.

Niches are rich

Small markets hide the most interesting problems, the most loyal customers, and the most defensible positions. We go where others won't — unglamorous corners of software where you can know every user by name and build something they can't live without.
